The Source

The graphic illustrations provide a systematic top-down view of the position shot. These shots were taken on Brunswick 9-foot tables at Shoreline Billiards in Mountain View, California. The shots were done at medium speed. To ensure consistency and eliminate variances, the entire table was shot six  times. Every position was video tapped in sessions ranging from 3 to 6 hours with the shooters. The tape was then transferred to the computer and the most accurate shots identified. These clips were closely viewed in slow motion to identify exact rail contact positions.

The information was recorded in Wei table code. Total effort has exceeded 1500 hours for the first edition and another 250 hours for this second edition. It was only the constant nagging from the Billiard Gods' Publishing Committee that kept me at the project until it is now in your hands.
