Table variations

The patterns shown in the Table Map will not be identical to your table. These shots were done on a 9-foot table in above average condition. If you are playing on an 8-foot or 7 foot table, the patterns will not run true to those shown. For best results, print out interesting patterns from the book and make necessary adjustments to achieve a close match. This will show you the necessary modifications for smaller tables. The key lessons you want to learn from studying these patterns is the ability to predict ball patterns and paths. With that knowledge (and the necessary table verification), you will make more intelligent kicking and banking choices.
