How to Cheat Pockets ($3.99 - 13 minutes)(Buy & download this video.) This video shows you all of the different ways you can cheat the pocket and get the cue ball to travel where you want it to go. Two object ball setups are used for this video - in-the-jaws of the pocket and a half-diamond out from the pocket. The shots demonstrate what to do for side pocket and corner pocket shots. From these examples, you can determine the best speed and English (side) to use to pocket the ball and get shape on the next. There is no voice-over to explain how these shots work. Instead, each setup uses a title page to introduce the video. Each shotis shown twice - once at regular speed, and once at half speed. Take your time studying this material. (You will use the pause, reverse, and play buttons a lot.) The author is a member of the Professional Billiards Instruction Association (PBIA) and American Cue Sports (ACS). This video shows you the many ways to successfully kick to an object ball in a corner or near a rail. One, two, three and even four rail kicks are much easier than you might believe. With the examples provided and some practice to prove these options, all you need is a bit of thought as to which which rail you will shoot towards. Your proven success at multiple rail kicks will make your opponent a bit more nervous. This video helped me realize that most kicks really are to a bigger target than I thought. It helps my confidence no end. Combined with the "Secrets of One Rail Kicks" video, my successes have more than doubled. Michael There is no voice-over to explain how these shots work. This video shows you all of the information you will ever need to successful kick to any ball on the table from anywhere on the table. Instead of learning how to kick using failed shots, this interesting video gives you mathematically certain formulas that can be applied on any size (7, 8, 9 foot) tables. Formulas are provided for cross-side and long table kicks. As a bonus, you will also learn how to use cue ball English to make successful kicks. There is even a section that shows you to use diamond counting for successful 2-rail kicks. Move this video onto your smartphone or tablet and go to your practice table. Shoot a dozen or so shots to prove that the formulas work and you have a tool that will take you from kicking hell to pool heaven. There is no voice-over to explain how these shots work. This video shows just how to easily use cue ball spin in your shots with accuracy and consistency. With the demonstrated examples of this video and some practice to prove that these techniques work, you can make the cue ball go almost anywhere on the table that you want. The net result will be the improved ability to make longer runs - constantly. For beginning to intermediate players. Before I saw this video, my cue ball spin shots only worked with the object ball very close to the pocket. Anything else was doomed to miss. I still don't shoot many shots with side spin, but now I have two trustworthy techniques that work for me. Paul There is no voice-over to explain how these shots work. The concept of defensive shooting in 9 Ball is explained in dozens of books and videos. Unfortunately, only a few obvious examples are provided. This actually limits your ability to play safeties because there are so few realistic examples. This video demonstrates dozens of 9 Ball defensive tactics and shots. Closely study the many ways to create problems for your opponent. With these examples and a few short practice sessions, you will significantly improve your capability to make effective and intelligent shot choices. Your defensive shot library will expand - a lot. I guess I am like most players. I really do not
like to play safe. When taking lessons from Allan, he pointed out how necessary
it is to play defense when there is no good shot. Before, I always seemed to
take the more complicated choice. With this video I learned that simpler is
better and much easier to shoot too. The video showed me so many choices that do
not require fancy shooting. There is no voice-over to explain how these shots work. Instead, each setup uses a title page to introduce the video.
